Comment of the Century.

Williams has had a massive improvement in pit stop speeds since last year, where they lingered with the slowest pit stops in F1. They put together a special group to fix the problem with new gear and training.

At least there’s one good thing to come of this: Toyota will be back next season. I was worried they’d win LeMans and dump their WEC program like Nissan did...

Comment/Picture of the Day. Hands down...

Just an addendum, this mark the final race for Audi’s 3-time winner Leena Gade as a chief engineer. She’s the first female chief engineer to win the 24 Hours of LeMans.

I thought that Corvette was allowed a .3mm increase. Unfortunately, all they had were .2mm increase plates available.

I suddenly have this urge to Go Faster...

So something like this...

In other words, the way it’s been raced for decades before Audi upped everyone’s game. Lol

Can I just say that the PR folks at NASCAR are now doing a facepalm and wondering why Brad chose to use the term, “inbred”?

And I doubt there’s enough space the other way to fit 60 cars in before the Ford chicane!

My off-the-cuff guess is that they're focusing on getting their F1 program together. Bigger budget, bigger worldwide appeal, etc...

I'll bet Honda execs are happy/relieved...

It’s the classic racer response. You see someone else is in an accident and you floor it thinking everyone else will rubberneck.

Visited there with my Dad back in '80 or so when I was a kid. He had a buddy racing in an amateur series. Alas, I came down with a c old and don't recall much of the trip other than it was wet and cold. Ah, memories!

I notice they specifically didn’t show the car from the side. So no way to see if there’s the intakes for intercoolers. Or something even more radical.

And thank you for all of that wonderful imagery I now have running through my head this morning...

After watching the 6-hour one this weekend, I'm not sure they'll be ready for LeMans! OTOH, I'm sure the privateers are drooling at the chance of picking up a podium. Or possibly a victory...

I’m hoping they make this race a 12-hour one, since they don’t race at Sebring.

Only if you pay. Or find Another Way...
