Wow, there's a lot there, mkay.

The actions of the mutineers were certainly in the present narrative, and they were of the Watch. I don't necessarily disagree with the idea that they are overlooked by many fans for being less overtly crazy/entertaining, but I'm not accepting any definition of the bulk of the Watch as "normal dudes".

Same continent, Dorne is just the furthest south. It's closer to King's Landing than the North is.

Since when are the Watch not rapers and murderers? That's exactly the reason a lot of them are there in the first place.

Why not more exploding barrels and more wildfire = because they don't have infinite ammo.

Littlefinger's used all the jetpack fuel travelling the world in a quest to acquire every known accent.

They always think of other people.

She's got perfect eyes to play vulnerable, hits my big-brotherly instinct button every time.

Both the same kid I believe.

This award to be handed out for stretching shit out: D&D can only win that if Martin is barred from entry due to already winning the lifetime achievement category.

That's not fair. He also mind-rapes Hodor for kicks.

Pretty much agreed.

Somehow I like Gilly, and can't abide Sam. I am conflicted.

Is it not the same boy who last episode (or the one before) said he was the best shot in his village or something to that effect?

MVP tonight was Ser Alliser. Which I did not expect.

I seriously doubt we're even going back to the wall next week, I know it's odd to say a cliffhanger is "wrapping things up" but that's what they've done tonight. I'll be stunned if we see any more.

Yep, Bruce Foxton is a frigging awesome bass player, and whether the Jam were punk or not (not) I can hear echoes of his style in just about every half decent modern punk bassist I've heard.

It's all in the details.

Carling is the Coors Light of England.
