Forget Maggie.

Damn right! The British Navy's daily "rum ration" for sailors was only abolished in (IIRC) 1970.

The key sexy differences between book and TV:

Musical cameo from Lily Allen.

I seem to remember whateverhisnamewas having a very creepy boob touching scene with naked Danaerys too.

Epic, epic nostalgia.

By God, I've been in some states over the years, but I've never managed to drink myself into shitting myself.

"Give you a hint, when you're shitting and vomiting there is a correct end to put on the toilet, and an alarming number of people get it wrong."

I don't have much issue with a lot of your assessments I'm just trying to add a little weight to the "just because a couple of asshats called her a bitch, doesn't make all criticism inherently misogynist" camp.

Just based on the TV (as far as I can do that), if there was coercion, then the actress played this wrong (or was directed to for the sake of setting up the end speech).

The level of "forgiveability" (to possibly invent a word) is all relative to the individuals' prior relationships with Tyrion:

I love this scene.
