God dammit, this is the third time Del Amitri has been referenced in my life today. What he fuck is going on?!

:::

Oh! Since others were mentioning hardcore, check out Cold World. Their albums Dedicated To Babies Who Came Feet First (2008) and How The Gods Chill (2014) are excellent. They're a Biohazard/Life O sounding hybrid from Scranton PA (?!), with the occasional hip hop flourish.

Hum and Failure were big in my circles back in the day. That being said, I'm not super familiar. I had friend who also had the Paw, Hammerbox, and Stompbox albums, so I'm passingly familiar with those and I've been intending to pick them up. I do have the Stompbox album, I always thought of it as White Zombie without

Course of Empire and Dessau are what I classify (internally) as lost 90s bands. Great bands, but the cards were stacked against them.

Bughouse! Holy Shit! That's a band I haven't thought about in nearly twenty years. I saw them with Ultraspank (worst band name ever), Far, and Incubus when they were still a Bungle rip off.

Second Life of Agony. River Runs Red and Ugly are great.

That's awesome, I hope they're good. I saw them and Korn open for Ozzy in 1995 (I think it was "Retirement Sucks Tour"), and Life O and Korn were good, but Korn was practically booed off the stage.

Never enough Life O. Have you heard the newest one yet? I fully intend to, but have not yet. I'm curious how Mina sounds.

The newest Melvins.

Weird how that happened, huh?

Nirvana - Mr. Mustache
Chris Connelly - Daredevil
Melvins - We All Love JUDY
Soundgarden - Room a Thousand Years Wide [Live 1992]
Killing Joke - Blood On Your Hands
Skin Yard - Slow Dive
Faith No More - What a Day
Corrosion of Conformity - Vote With a Bullet
Pearl Jam - Oceans [Live 1991]
The Stooges - Loose
Talking Heads -

And what a day that will be!

No shuffle from me this week. Too busy dealing with illness and a boss who wants to fire me over being ill (we both know she can't).

I can't think of any other phrase that amuses me and aggravates me in nearly equal measure.

Thanks. I'm at home with a kitten sleeping on my chest, and trying not to think about my work piling up.

Yeah, no internet for us. Our computer lab was Commdore 64s.

I'd sure love to Ghost Demi Moore!

Sympathy upvote.
