We're similar in this way. I absolutely love disco, and I get made fun of for it pretty regularly. Part of what I like about it is how it's pretty hedonistic and just doesn't give a shit.

Exactly. And it's applicable in every day life. Just because some is supposed to do something doesn't mean they will, and if they don't, you could still pay for it. A small amount of awareness is all it takes.
