I think a lot of the demand comes from younger van dwelling vagabonds rather than old hippies though so I believe they have a while left up in the overpriced range. And if the market does crash demand will just go up as people lose their houses and look for cars to live in. Mostly joking here.

So is Jesus pronounced jeezus or heyzus?

I think I would be on board if it was somewhat easily detached so it could be upgraded. I can only imagine how shitty and outdated most of these infotainment screens are going to feel in 20 years.

The fact that those aren’t even is absolutely killing me. There’s even a line they could have followed!

I mean, worst case of it not knowing school is out one day is it drives 20 for a few hundred yards and annoys the people behind trying to go 35 until it is out of the school zone so I don’t see a huge problem.

I think you are right on the communicative riding gear being worked on right now. There was an article on here a few months back about Honda patenting a blind spot monitoring system than kind of vibrates the seat to warn you of things in your blind spot.

This kind of system already exists in a way. Jackets with a CO2 charge of some sort that blow up when you are thrown from the bike. I don’t know how they work exactly, they aren’t as expensive as I thought they would be but they are still really pricey.

I thought the same until I rode one of Zero’s motorcycles. The electric whine is pretty sweet, feels like you are in a tie fighter.

The AEG engine at least, I let the manual go with the car so I can’t check the ABA or if it was just select years.

You don’t have to hoist the engine but you do have to remove the motor mounts and jack it up a bit. It’s not the hardest job in the world but it seems like they could have made it easier.

One thing that does look worse is the interior. I test drove one recently and while it was alright to drive the interior felt so cheap and plasticky.

Let’s be real, they were not drinking red bull in the 80s. It was a straight up snow party.

The only thing I can think of is it is more inconvenient to eat breakfast and have to shift in traffic. Which you really shouldn’t be eating and driving an auto either.

Coal makes up about 6% of California’s power consumption. Even if it was a much larger number, electricity generated on a massive scale like that is likely more efficient than burning gasoline in every car.

I think this is a likely outcome. Subaru has two distinct fan bases, the safety-love-it’s-what-makes-Subaru-a-Subaru crowd and the vape-nation bros. I imagine the former brings in a whole lot more sales.

Back before bluetooth was commonplace, the old FM transmitters were pretty common and if you got close enough to another car you could pick up whatever they were playing over theirs because they usually only had about 4 choices of station to transmit on.

We have a lot more electronic nannies now though. Still doesn’t make up for it but helps equalize it at least a bit.

As far as I know that never passed. It got hung up somewhere and died. Same thing happened in Washington.

Ford didn’t seem to have a problem selling their 400k sports car. I mean, certainly not at volume and they probably didn’t make nearly as much off of the run as GM makes off one year of Corvettes but there does seem to be something of a market for American supercars.

This is happening right now with Portland International Raceway. Lots of people moving to the area and building closer to the track and complaining that the track is loud.
