Agreed, except the funeral parlor... A funeral home is in no way shape or form responsible for the mis-identification of a body and it’s complete shit to try and hold them accountable. Yeah they have pictures provided by the family, but could you image what would happen if funeral homes just started asking families…

This is the same structure as any settlement case. Damages are awarded weighing estimated damage done and estimated earnings potential of the victim over avg working years of people in the field against total payout. There is not real other way to do a mass settlement case.
I don’t know how to tell you this... but having a basic understanding of biology, and having watched enough crime shows in my life, I’m pretty sure I could dismember a body in like 15-20 minutes with a set of decently sharp kitchen knives. Like 3 minutes if I have access to power tools.
How did you actually get on the jury of a child murder while having a child? I would think that would kind of count you out as inherently biased?
