I can't really hold this against Harmonix because I've never liked MTV anyway. I'll wait until everything's official and confirmed before judging one way or the other.

@arniejolt: Nah, they'd just have to cut off another 2 fingers from the picture and re-register the license for Right2Die

Am I the only person left under the age of 30 who doesn't play cell phone games? I just can't help but balk at seeing major titles reduced to a tiny size and effectively shredded. My phone is for calls, texts, and the occasional drunken photo.

I would like to point all readers to the part where it says "help get people jobs" and "hope [it] plays a part."

@Strife56: I don't think he's saying those games are bad or anything. I'm a PS3 enthusiast, but even I have to admit that the system doesn't have anything that has had sweeping moments for games. It's a hard thing to do that with a game—it's equally as dependent on the skill of the creators as it is the timing of

I don't want to come across as a flamer or troll with this statement, but what, really is the defining moment for the 360?

I don't think this is entirely Sony's fault, for those of you confused or irritated. Much like Harmonix had to pay to relicense music from Rock Band for Rock Band 2, I imagine there is more legality involved here than with games.

@valleyshrew: Trying compensating for licensing fees from the record industry as well as the time and effort that went into transcribing each part of each song, making sure they were accurate, and fitting them into the programming along with bugtesting. Also, figure that you have to do this every week lest you piss

@SolidOni: Carrying a card for anything automatically makes you a total douche. Card carrying Republican? Check. Card carrying Communist? Check. It's a law of nature.

@Rajio: No it doesn't. Steel Battalion's massive control setup had one use. You couldn't, say, hook it into your car and use it to drive based on its out-of-box construction.

@Mobus: I pose a question to you. If David thinks her only worth is as a MILF, do you honestly think he is saying that because she's a woman, or is he saying it because of what he knows about her politics, behaviors, and what their potential impact would be were she given power?

I am extremely confused by DLC reactions to Rock Band. There is a wide array of music spanning five decades, and I still see people bitching about what's available.

Out of curiosity, does anyone else think the motions in GH games look slightly odd? I'm not trying to flame the game here, but even with their motion capture there's a certain amount of rigidity in movement—especially in the drummers—that Rock Band doesn't seem to have.

No big loss. Three songs shouldn't be a make or break deal for Rock Band 2 anyway. It amazes me that people will stare at that, feeling only indignation toward Harmonix when they have no control over the price thing.

Aside from a computer, how could you play this elsewhere? I had enough trouble with my final patient getting shredded by moon viruses on the DS. I can't imagine trying to manage with a joystick, D-pad, or God forbid a six-axis.

Okay, I understand there are people who need their school girl fix outside of every anime on the planet, but can we please get some bitchin' armor or a new weapon set or something I actually want to fight with while wearing?

@EmpressInYellow: I don't think it was a sense of invincibility. I'd wager most Americans walked around their day-to-day lives thinking nothing of it at all. It's not something anyone should -have- to think about (though that is sadly nothing but an ideal). Americans were fortunate enough to be in a position where

@EmpressInYellow: I can't entirely agree with you on your point about terrorism happening to other people. The Oklahoma City bombing, though it claimed substantially fewer lives than the WTC, was an act of terrorism within our own borders that brought down a building. Aside from scale, the only difference was that

@WDYC: I'm not condoning what he did, don't misunderstand. He just felt directly attacked and responded in kind, which, if nothing else, is an understandable reaction.

@WDYC: I just feel like mentioning that part of the reason discussions like this turn into what just happened is because well meant points such as yours often have a very blurry line between talking about Americans and the American government. That's probably what you should have made clearer. It's really easy to
