@Xephos: I would have to say the message would be "don't bomb our harbor," and then I would call it Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault.

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say he was looking exactly for the response he got. Anyone who's paid any attention to reactions about 9/11 know how seriously everyone takes it, and it takes a bare minimum of sense to know how incredibly reactionary subject matter regarding 9/11 will be unless it falls into the

@Dalren: Rock Band, however, will still have the advantage of a significantly larger release library. For people who are interested in DLC, the pre-existing set of songs could be a make-or-break factor.

@Loate: It's not the overcharting difficulty that's the problem; it's the fact that it happens at all.

@ScreamingBroccoli: You say that like Guitar Hero 3 was some sort of godsend to the Wii. GH3 was severely gimped in comparison to its next generation counterparts. Rock Band was no different. The modes that are missing are, for the most part, online based. DLC on the Wii is something that is largely unsupported by

I love the humor in the first one, so this is a definite buy. It reminded me very much of the humor in the PS2 Bard's Tale remake, which I loved as well. Plus, there was something satisfying about totally wrecking a hobbit village.

@Thulsa: Excuse me, but I'll refer you back to the first definition.

In reference to the question of what a religion is, the top two definitions

Okay, I feel it necessary to point out (as per the arguments I keep seeing) that the definition of an atheist would be someone who specifically denies the existence of a God or gods. When confronted with the question, "Is there a God?" the Atheist's answer is, "No." not, "Maybe."

@dgkz0idberg: We Americans love outdated foreign phrases! It's how our language came to be!

Love the variety Harmonix has gotten across all its DLC tracks.

Does a picture of Cliffy exist where he's not holding one of those things?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say anyone who doesn't like Fatality for having used gaming to elevate his status as a 'celebrity,' but still likes Penny Arcade is selectively blind.

@angry_gamer: What makes it BS? Remaining stuck on old classifications of what is 'cool' and what isn't, what certain activities are for and what they aren't, is really an outdated practice. The size and scope of attendees at Guitar Hero/Rock Band competitions is a good example.

@Tesahli: There's a good bit of truth to that. We've all been playing games all our lives, and this guy comes along and is suddenly 'professional,' and, being a douche-bag, it makes him really easy to resent.

@Daisuash: Well, to be fair, your examples don't really hold water given that there are large tournaments for games like Magic held across the country. If people could get paid good money to play a card game like that, they would. From a marketing standpoint, though, CCGs and such aren't frenetic enough. Poker

@SG79: See poker comment in main article. If a game where a bunch of people sit around concentrating on their strategies based on what other people are doing can be broadcast.... gee that sounds awfully familiar.

A new map would be a welcome addition to the game...

@MisterMcThursday: Uhh, you do realize that just because it's DLC doesn't mean it's on the disc by default, right? That's not the same thing as paying to 'unlock' it. I haven't seen anything as of yet that proves that data is on the disc. An unlock code doesn't require three megs of data.

Err, is that stuff actually on the disc? I plunked down the buck fifty to see what it was, and it looks like there's a bunch of new stuff that I hadn't unlocked already. It's basically what it says it is, and includes equipment models from the past games.
