Oh look, another Ted Nugent fan showed up.

2/3rds done. It has been a process. I wrote almost an entire article and then erased all of it, I needed to make it more streamlined. It was bloated. Hopefully this week or next depending on what pops up.
Read the democratic debate break down clearly linked at the top of this article and see the mention of the upcoming democratic debate in the conclusion. Read before you comment please. Oh and not everyone puts on a team jersey everyday and cheers blindly like an idiot for one side or the other. There is no place for…
Reading is fundamental. Tyler linked to the previous Democratic debates piece and specifically said he’ll be doing this for the next Dem debate.
The tea party just had a gigantic conference in center of the state with Trump last summer. Many many gatherings in Des Moines. No Democratic senators left. Ultra-conservative Branstadt’s nickname is “governor for life”. A governor that got sued by a LGBT former state official. A governor that publicly supported…
So when the governor supported the firing of a gay teacher in the state’s capital, how does that display the state’s current progressive attitude toward’s LGBT?
Actually Peter Parker cant be anything but white. Spider-Man can be a different race and actually is right now with Miles Morales. “Spiderman” is a title not an identity much like most monikers in the Marvel Universe.
Except not really. The director is black. He cast a white man for a specific statement...I don’t happen to agree with that tactic, but it’s not exactly whitewashing, either.
Apparently the director is black, so that seems like an unlikely reading of his intent.
What? The director, Michael Oatman, who cast the white actor is black. This was his reasoning, “I wanted a true exploration of King’s wish that we all be judged by the content of our character and not the color of our skin.” You may disagree with his reasoning but I don’t think there was anything malicious behind it.…
Wait, really? That would have been a useful piece of information to put in the original article.
To be fair, I audition anyway even if the casting call is for a particular race (I’m not white) because I don’t know what that casting director might also be working on.
Peter Parker cannot be played by a non-white; however, in the comics, Miles Morales, a Black-Hispanic, has taken the mantle of Spider-man, so you can do Spider-man with the other alter-ego.
I don't know if the fact that Oatman is black should make me more or less upset and confused by this. I'm going to go with more.
