It sure sounds like your non-union experience sucks compared to union. So how are there mixed feelings?

So we’ll march day and night by the big Corvette tower

If someone else will do the same job for less then why would I pay you?

Erosion is one way things are destroyed. AKA “just the tip.”

you’re right, better to just let the companies (whose primary and arguably sole purpose is to increase profits YOY above all else) dictate everything to the workers. What could possibly go wrong?

GM is getting great margins on the product built at that plant. Too bad the people working there are in fucking Kentucky, which likes its jobs to be cheap.

Everyone thinks “Nobody wants to work anymore” , no its nobody wants to work for shit pay when the CEO is making 12 Billion a year.

Reminder GM could earn $14 billion this year even through a pandemic and shortages.

Impeccable headline, I couldn’t not click it

And that USUALLY means the government is about 12 years ahead in their tech. Now, that is a bit giving however, do you want to take the chance that this just flys by the radar of the average citizen or do you want everyone to be informed. Catch the news tonight? Any word of this?

WHAT? You don't see the potential for abuse?

The only difference is bandwidth, which the government is more than happy to pay for. If the organization allows a black box on their system they don't even need the video stream. They can make due with the database that results from the interpretation of the video.

Yeah, turning the world into a total surveillance state out of fear sounds like a great idea.

"Those who would trade liberty for safety deserve neither."

@Masterpain22: Exactly and that is my point. That people don't look at people and just assume like this person is saying. We think we see "White", "Black", "Asian" when we see those traits that we know represent that race. Anime characters look nothing Japanese (some do) and that is because Americans (I'm sure a lot

@06RallyBlue: Street Fighter is as stereotypical as it can be, and it needs to be because they are trying to portray people from all over the world. If you watched the characters and felt like they are all of the same race and come from the same country that would be missing the point.

I think Street Fighter is the perfect example of debunking this. CAPCOM makes sure you know that Balrog is Black, that Dalshim is Indian, that Feilong is Chinese, that Guile and Ken are White and so on. I'm sure when the Japanese look at Balrog they don't go," Look! Just another run of the mill Japanese Black guy!".

I think that, more than anything When they look "white" it's because there's atleast one blond in the main characters.. blond = white.

Asian people are fascinated with 'White' people imo.
