Yeah, this story is nonsense. The screen is independent from critical driving functions. The hazards, turn signals, etc. all continue working, even with the screen totally off. You just don’t get any indication in the car that they are on. Even autopilot will continue to run without the screen. I’ve rebooted the

Hot take. It wasn’t a bad looking car, from far away...

The Model S plaid stops 60-0 in 104 ft, thanks to ridiculously wide tires. However, it accelerates to 0-60 in only 98 ft thanks to 1020 HP!

No way. When you are boarding in a late zone, you grab whatever bin space is available. Someone has likely already taken the bin space above your seat if you are boarding in zone 15....

fair. I’m on my fourth service trying to get issues fixed from delivery. But, it’s hard to argue with 1020 HP. It’s stupid fast and fun. The Taycan feels painfully slow by comparison. I test drove both before buying the Plaid. Nothing else comes close.

This is exactly the kind of EV we need. You have a much larger carbon reduction from taking massive trucks and SUVs off the road than shuffling prius owners into Model 3s. As much as I love Tesla, this is a great move. Replacing 13 mpg vehicles with EVs will have massive carbon savings, even if they use a lot of

More fast EV sedans, roadsters, and convertibles please. No more crossovers. Blah.

Yeah, sort of baffled why most states don’t have state-run inspection stations like NJ. Nothing but inspections. No conflict of interest. I think it was even free? I don’t remember paying...

Uhhh. Performance specs? Is it fast? That’s all I care about.

F me! I sold mine in 2018 for ~$50k

Yeah, the sensors are cheap ($35), but they have to be programmed by Tesla.

AGM = pass. This isn’t 2005.

AGM = pass. This isn’t 2005.

Doesn’t a sprinter get twice the MPG and have more usable space inside?

Come on, post the dashcam video! The car has it... Someone needs to upload it. :-)

Yup. Bad software bug in the haptic motor controller.

I’m so glad the dealers exist to protect consumers!

I mean, dropping a simple electric motor and battery on that kart would have the same or better top speed, and better acceleration. Whole lot less noise...

that is actually the worst part. The yoke part isn’t bad. The lack of real buttons is bad. Even worse, the yoke makes noise. It buzzes like a mofo, because bad software.

But dealers protect the customers!!  hehe

I replaced the bumper on my Model S from similar damage for $1200. Authorized Tesla shop.
