Preheat the car from the app should solve it.

Exactly. Why does this even exist at all???????

I love the “Holy Fuck, don’t use lithium!”

I don’t have a problem losing things. I have a problem with my valuable stuff being stolen.

It’s now just 8 hours or less before it starts making noise. So, you have very little time before the thief is alerted to the airtag.

You need to disable the speaker to make the Airtag at all useful for tracking stolen items. Otherwise, the thief hears the sound and immediately throws the damn airtag away. The privacy fears are overblown and apple has made the AirTag useless because of them.

Not necessarily. It gives a very open, airy feel. I had a Model 3 for three years and now I am back in a Model S. The 3 feels bigger and has better visibility because of the windshield angle and the lack of a traditional dash. I think it is better without one.

Stop the presses! There’s a critical safety recall for Tesla cars! Oh, wait. It’s a software bug related to an annoying seat belt chime. Oh, and it was already fixed with an over the air update that everyone has. Ok, carry on...

Agreed.

Or yah know, calling out BS lies when Biden said GM led the EV revolution.... That’s just nonsense. I agree, Tesla needs to stop being anti-union. But, the white house should appreciate and acknowledge the most American auto manufacturer....

After a short time with the Model 3, I didn’t miss the instrument cluster. Looking down to the right is just as fast as looking straight down. You can’t look at the dash at the same time as the road. Moving your eyes down and right is exactly as fast as moving down.

It’s because someone made a product to simulate a massaging seat that constantly moves the lumbar seat motors back and forth. I assume that was causing a lot of warranty claims from continuous use of the motors, so they want to stop that.

That escalated quickly....

There aren’t enough batteries to be recycled yet for anyone to have started a business to use them. Leaf batteries are too small and there aren’t enough of them. Until the Model 3 batteries start wearing out after driving 300k+ miles or 15 years or so, then we’ll have enough batteries to recycle. I don’t think we’ll

sure. you get another 200 miles in 15 minutes. I have a 2018 Model 3 rwd, so I’ve seen the black curve above. It’s fast. Not sure what the problem is. You drive for 4 hours on your initial charge, then stop to hit the bathroom and eat a sandwich. Before you finish eating, the car is ready to go. I’ve never had to

Not bullshit. I do it all the time. 250 kW seems to be everywhere and the throttling was only for the 90kwhr battery. The Model 3 is not being throttled. Charging on the Model 3 is fast. It’s 15 minutes until you are ready to go again. Slightly faster on the new Model S even....

They’d have to fly a ton of terminals there and verify that they have coverage. The satellite orbits might not be optimized for coverage there. Also regulatory approval, etc.

15 minutes to get 80%

Anything over 400 miles it’s faster to fly.

The math doesn’t work out. I doubt that’s the reason for the range loss. You can do the math for yourself. Let’s estimate even on the high end its using 200W. Over an hour that’s 200 whr. The Model 3 uses 250 whr / mi. At 60 mph that’s 15,000 whr / hour. So, about 1.3% difference. And that’s unlikely, since I doubt
