This sounds like a classic case of an “Inverse Tracy

I saw this yesterday... and it makes me just as happy to read the news again today.

Check out the competition again, these specs are respectable.

This is about the same size as a Rav-4 Prime. Being a plug-in hybrid with enough range to qualify for the 7.5k federal tax rebate, that means you’re looking at MRSP - tax rebate for both of these cars. The id.4 that way comes down to mid-30s, the Rav-4 to low 30s. In a world where an AWD compact CUV with a traditional

I’ve concluded that ID.4's core demographic is someone who wants to go electric but wants a European car and hates Elon Musk

I hope Rob sees this post and considers the reality of LA miles on a car

ND. This car is likely all 101 to 405 freeway miles, but those are not “freeway miles,” those are start-stop-start-stop-rage-stop-despair-stop miles. This is not the car for you at this price. There’s a reason this was listed 20 days ago and updated 13 days back, nobody is buying this car for a reason even in the

I’m wondering what percentage of the NP votes are just guys trying to get Rob in trouble with the missus.

I speak for the wives.

$10k is barely affordable. 20K is “inexpensive.” 30K is “reasonable.” 40K is “entry level base luxury”. Everything above that is luxury at different levels.

Okay, let’s just put this on par with other convertibles that are in the same shouting distance: You could get into a high-ish mileage S2000. There are some good Boxsters in this territory. A near-new Miata would be on the table here. You could do a C5 Corvette without a top, if you’re into that sort of thing. (Or, if

With everything that’s had to be replaced on this car, I feel like its led a very hard life so I would stay the hell away. The price is fine for what it is, but a ND from me because I’m sketched out.

For a while, they were the largest auto mfg. Not anymore but their position is not laughable. They are still one of the largest and people enjoy their products. $43k-incentives is pretty good for an awd EV. I’m not really sure why people are comparing a brand new, awd EV, to all cars, new and used. No one is cross

I mean, of all the things you could complain about, this probably among the least. No review of the dozen or so I watched had anything bad to say about it.

It’s “Brake” mode (or what you might call Low mode in a gas vehicle). It actually regens down to 3mph and is incredibly useful around town.

It takes approximately one second to get used to this. Hell, from the driver’s seat, you can barely even see the graphics on the drive selector.

I own an ID4 and that is for Regen Braking. I think the gear selector took me about 2 seconds to figure out.

The Ford Maverick isn’t an EV last I checked.
