Seat to me has always been exotic, but in a “not exotic” kind of way. It’s like when you were in the 8th grade, and you met girls from another school at the mall. You can’t date a girl from another school, so you’d just wonder what might have been if you were born in a different school district.

That’s not a ford, it’s a bmw

That lack of confidence is exactly why you shouldn’t consider yourself a better than average driver.

People who consider themselves to have a high driving ability are more likely to try than others who aren’t so confident. It also comes down to a general lack of awareness that flooded roads pose a risk.

Watching the Audi charge pass the broken 3er around 0:45, only to fuck it up so badly, and then the white smoke... perfection.

I’m reasonably certain this will simply result in a (not so) low-key arms race amongst a certain segment of the population to have the deadliest bro-dozer.

this is america, expect the exact opposite reaction from the crowd that buys such cars, they would be pleased to know their monsters are deadly to others

300kW is a unit of power. 2.45MWh is the capacity.

If you leave off the hyphen it’s a bunch of burros chowing down on hay.

Ass-eating scene goes wrong”

Standardized charging wouldn’t stop Audi from doing this.

The one posted today on that Subreddit is even worse, if only a static image. Rolls-Royce rear-ended a Lamborghini Urus. Ouch. Of course, the caption is often the best part...”Ass-eating scene goes wrong”. Yup.

It wouldn’t even have to pop out -- a steep enough slope can overcome the engine compression.

I interpreted the Silverado and GT-R as being other vehicles that were on the car carrier, and had to be unloaded to access the F-Type.  They appear to be far from the curb, not just street parked bystanders.

I didn’t cringe, I laughed.

I’d be pretty happy to get a cool car, but I guess that’s a dumb thing to think here on (checks notes) auto enthusiast website Jalopnik?

Cars aren’t designed or built with this type of impact in mind. I’m not at all surprised there was more damage than immediately apparent from an 8' drop going backwards.

I am equally as shocked that someone would street park their GT-R.

I’ve accepted cars for deliver like this plenty of times and could totally see this happening. They unstrap the car completely before lowering the top ramp.

It happens. I’ve witnessed a car fall off the back of a transport on the highway, at highway speed. The truck carried on for almost a kilometer before someone managed to get the driver’s attention that something way behind him was very seriously wrong. Extremely lucky that no other vehicles got caught up in that
