If you’d like to wander down a deep dark hole, I suggest the comments of the Gateway Pundit article by Jim Hoft. (Hoft has been banned from Twitter for “civic integrity violations” — meaning, he keeps promoting The Big Lie.)

Biden has some cred with Vehicles whether it is fake or not

I’ve seen a few of those takes on social media.  They seem to miss that Ford has worked with and hosted many administrations from both sides of the aisle.  They had Trump visit as recently as May 2020.

Gah! Not this malarkey!

Of course the guy in the passenger seat wasn’t driving. That’s ridiculous. It was a remote control truck. Kamala was really driving it from her desk in the Oval Office.

Of course Ford denied the truck had dual controls. That right there is your proof it did. /s

Coming downhill to a tight turn on slicks in the rain with the contact patch the size of a school lunch apple must be blast...

It’s like every kid had a green turtle shell and shot it at the same time.

Yes...but these *are* 11 - 15year olds.  Judging by the number of injury inducing wrecks on his bicycle my spawn has had "slow and cautious" may not be in their vocabulary.

I had a chance to talk to a pretty wide variety of designers and apparently the polarizing grille is a feature a lot of luxury automakers are going for now??? Be it Lexus, BMW, or even Genesis. The thinking is that it’s an eye-grabbing feature that can create a very distinctive, brand-focused look without compromising

Obviously cannot report from the 4cyl or from an aging perspective but the 2021 G80's cabin is really well enclosed and designed to be super quiet. It has a whole section of the infotainment screen dedicated to nature sounds which was extremely legit because the cabin is quiet enough that it doesn't ruin your

If you’re not familiar with Genesis, it’s basically Hyundai’s luxury spinoff brand that was vaguely inspired by the Hyundai Genesis. The brand has only been around since 2015, but it’s been making waves ever sense—and none quite as large as those made in 2021.

Rivian has actually done everything right thus far for starting a new EV company.  Rivain’s major partner is Amazon, along with massive cash raises with OEM suppliers. I’m pretty sure Rivian will have zero cash problems.

There’s always that.

Fingers crossed...

Which is honestly fine for Tesla. I’m not really as worried about them being profitable right now as a lot of people are. They’re still not at scale, because making cars is hard, though they really need to get better at quality control, and being more predictable.

In the end, there can be multiple players in all these segments, but unless you beat the existing companies to market, or are partnered with them (Rivian), it doesn’t look good.

They have a ton of support from big players, so I think they’ll be fine. The Ford partnership will only help on the passenger side, and the Amazon support means they’re likely do be able to use their delivery van business as a strong basis to work off.

Yup. The only ones of these I have even vague confidence in are the established companies with existing marketshare that got roped into the SPAC craze. For instance Proterra, the electric bus manufacturer (which is currently ACTC or something meaningless), which has a corner of the public transit industry carved out,
