So it’s only catching people who are literally driving on the footpath?

Most people need at least a ft, often two, on either side of the car.

Buy and hold forever is my approach to stocks now.

Rivian have figured it out. GM seem to have, with their silly Hummer - which is squarely aimed at people taking it to the beach (but who think of themselves as desert warriors). The suburbs have money and garages and will pay the EV premium.

OT: Where is Jason Torchinsky? The Changli launched in the United States, and we haven’t heard from him about it...

Neutral: The Changli just launched in the US, and I haven’t seen or heard a Torchinsky article about it yet...

I saw Blown Away recently, and yeah. It’s an incredible craft.

They need to find a way to balance between keeping costs down and having everyone race within a limited spec, and developing technology and bringing in more speed and performance. They’re not there yet, and I think the recent departures highlight that.

It means I’m even less likely to buy a Tesla for my next electric car.

They are really good. I see one on my commute each day, and a few of them every week in the fancy area I work in. They’re stunning, and the ‘base’ model Taycan is still an incredible vehicle.

This definitely needs a Tesla-swap.

These conversions take beautiful cars and give them the powertrains they deserve. I’m pretty okay with that.
