In my opinion, every car built before 1990 should be in a museum or electrified.

That’s because these are bikes for ghosts. Isn’t it obvious?

My question is: why are these so expensive?

How much do you value your head?

If you needed something today I’d suggest the Outlander PHEV(see above). Large, practical, affordable (at least before the chip shortage) and you won’t run out of range.
