I seriously think you could have Jeremy Lin start as PG on the Cav’s and he would give you about the same scoring but much better defense than Kyrie. Lin actually ranks 2nd among all PG’s in blocks this season.

I like how people are just now figuring out that Irving isn’t better than mediocre. Like what were you watching before now? His “stardom” has been one of the most perplexing of the last 5 or so years to me.

Cavs were built to win five years ago. It’s not a team that handles full court, up tempo, 5 on 5 type play. They would have been great against the Heat or the Mavs of old. But they are no match for the Fun and Gun Warriors. LeBron constructed a bad team.

Every time a talking head repeated the fact that Cleveland won two games without those guys last year I got to point out how that was actually to Cleveland’s advantage defensively. In that series the Cavs countered with Dellavadova and a lineup without a PG, putting more on BronBron.

My friend described him on email this AM as “poison”. That seems about right.

You know, there was another PG from the ACC who came into the league and all kinds of offensive numbers and a quick handle that made him look like the next big thing. This guy also left school early.

I work with a couple of cavs fans, and they’re honestly freaking out that thompson, Irving and love are untradeable because of their contracts (love especially).

I think he’s the kind of good where he should be the best player on a bad team, looking really good putting up numbers and struggling for an 7 seed in the east. He’s not the kind of good that helps actually win a championship apparently.

On their day, Toronto could very well beat the Cavs (they have already defeated them twice this season). The Cavs might be more talented this season than in last year’s playoffs, but the chemistry doesn’t seem any better and the coach is definitely worse. And LeBron is declining.

I guarantee he gets a job elsewhere. Minnesota is my bet.

Player management is going to bridge a gap between you and the two most likely opponents you’ll face in the finals that’s as high as the gap between you and teams in your conference that aren’t even going to make the playoffs? Blatt maybe didn’t manage in the NBA, but he did manage in Europe, and it’s not like his

I mean, sure, in a counterfactual world where you can hire Gregg Popovich or someone of his stature, go ahead and get rid of Blatt. But what could possibly be the logic behind handing over the reins to a total unknown quality like Lue? Does anyone really think that he’s the guy who’s going to lead them to a title? And

Him leaving Cleveland is a good thing.. Thats not saying that he wasnt very good in Cleveland, but his numbers are down since the team didnt really play around him (opting for playing against the better LeBron James). Maybe he can sign in Sunny Sacramento after they trade DeMarcus Cousins or something..

There’s no. fucking. way. he wants to stay in Cleveland. First paragraph is dumb if you paid any attention to the Cavs at all. He’s been gone for a while.

Maybe years of Wiggins would have been better than a regular season of Love after all.

Where in the pantheon of Worst Trades Ever does Wiggins for Love fall? The Cavs are a disaster.

Honestly, does this surprise anyone? What makes this even worse is that the Cavs basically rented Love for a year at the expense of the first round draft pick.

I have no dog in this fight.

Am I the only one who thinks the cavs will let/force love to walk and then sign Aldridge?

At what point in the season did the Cavs regret that Wiggins/Love trade?
