I think the assumption is this will come out this year. Odyssey released in Oct, 2018, and they’re releasing bi-annually.

Agreed, I love that it’s flexible enough to allow you to take the fight to non-alien factions and enemies if you want to. Whether that’s to clean up the city, or just to restock on some weapons and money.

Can’t beat the originals! I still dabble in the original Enemy Unknown (as it was released in Europe) and Apocalypse from time to time. Still need to get round to trying the reboot from 2012/2013, it’s in my backlog.

Not to be too pedantic, but Forza Horizon 4 is set in Scotland too, not just England. The Scots get enough of a bad deal from us English, we shouldn’t deprive them of a starring role in Froza as well.

Achievements will show up on your Xbox profile and add to your overall gamerscore, just like any other game. Gears POP on iOS is another recent non-Xbox release that supports that.

Yeah, it’s an interesting approach. The idea that Xbox would suddenly lock console games behind Game Pass seems crazy, but then when you think about other subscription services like Netflix, that’s what sustains the business. Netflix exclusives and productions that can’t be obtained anywhere else. I guess Apple is

Am I understanding this correctly though, that none of these games can be purchased independently via the App Store? I’m not opposed to the idea of a game subscription service, I have Game Pass on Xbox, however only a few of these pique my interest, and I only play pretty casually on my iPhone. Would love to download

No, it’s not really helpful regardless of when you find them. Just wanted to tease the later discoveries.

I worry that Outer Wilds might get overlooked by the broader gaming community, especially with E3 upon us. It’s really not to be missed though. Beautiful graphics and a captivating mystery, as if you blended The Witness and No Man’s Sky together. Reached one of the endings last night, but there’s still much to go back

Can we even call the Battlefield V delay a miss on MS’s part, especially if they didn’t mention a release date during their showcase?

I may be in the minority, but I’ve invested maybe 1 or 2 skill points into cars, despite being around level 100. I’ve played every Horizon, but this new feature in the series just didn’t really do anything for me.

Couple of quick additions:

They have a small team and sold a ton of copies.

The video stated Autumn 2018 for Moonlighter, which would suggest by November at the latest. They had originally said September I believe, so only a very brief delay if any.

UFO/X-COM: Enemy Unknown - the 1994 original (as it was released in Europe under that name).

Long time Kotaku reader, but very recent Splitscreen subscriber. Have really enjoyed your E3 coverage via the pod, especially as someone chomping at the bit for more from CD Projekt Red.

I ask myself this question frequently about co-op games, and I’ve always had Overcooked on my ‘do not play’ list. My non-gaming partner for the occasional co-op game often cites the challenge of having to look at the buttons on a controller while playing, so something this fast-paced would just never be an option.

Cool. I live nearby too, and just look longingly at the building as I go by on 270.

Thanks, I appreciate the reply. I have it on Xbox, not PC, so wouldn’t have access to any of the mods. Xbox would be my preferred platform either way, just wonder how much more enjoyable an experience it is now with the remaster. I get the sense that while the original has aged, that is also part of the charm, and

Would you recommend the remaster over the original if I already have the latter, but have never played it?
