Shhhh.... Josi’s parents don’t know he will be staying at their place for 14 days wrenching....

I’m pretty sure the current government made the virus political. Believing it exists is political. Preventing the spread is political. Wearing a face covering is political.

I’m confused at how this is political.

1. Transportation is political.

The S660 isn’t a Beat. They are two different cars...

They are RWD! and mid engine too boot

Friend of mine owns one; after all this is over I need to start bugging him to let me take a ride.

Now?

1) Battery refurbishing or reprocessing

2) Barring that, it’s better that the waste go into a landfill, which is sequestered from our environment, than our atmosphere.

I mean, you could search and find out pretty good studies that take this into account for a total life cycle analysis. In the end, it ends up being a case of if you value total green house emissions vs land fill & recyclability vs total energy consumption. Electric cars come out ahead for emissions (even if your power

Not all stone.  Marble is very susceptible to staining.  But you go for a solid gray soapstone and that stuff is durable as hell (it’s what the old science chem lab countertops were made of)

I think Hertz sales let’s you rent before you buy. So you get a 3 day test drive of the actual car you are considering and it’s free if you do end up buying

The rear facing seats are the small backseat killer. You don’t realize how a 25 pound toddler can take up far more room than a 15o pound adult until you try to cram in one of those gigantic seats.

I think it will be hard to top something like a manual Accord or Mazda6 for what this guy wants. Without throwing at least one requirement aside, I can’t think of anything that doesn’t require a considerably higher price tag. A CPO German sport sedan or wagon would tick every box except for price.

You said $80k, not me.

Smart people don’t make value judgements with so little information...

Also body roll. They’ll love that body roll. Nothing inspires confidence in even the least attentive drivers than felling like your car is going to tip over. People buy CUVs because they don’t know better, not because they are better.

My ex and my current had a Rav4 and CRV respectively and I’ve put substantial miles on both, and hate both with every fiber of my being.  I’d rather take the bus than buy a crossover in my price range (I’m sure the Macan is plenty fun,but I’d never buy one over a Cayman).

It really is. I picked up a 2004 new right as the 2005's were hitting the lots. 118k miles and 15 years later, it’s still going strong. My only downside to the ‘04 (fixed in the ‘05 and later) was that there’s a rev limiter (there isn’t on the ‘05 and later from what i recall) and so... my Redline, rev limits before
