This is a reminder of how much trouble HD is in.  The HD electric is like if Dodge tried to make an electric Charger, they'd never get the Teslarati away from Elon and would alienate the few people still buying Dodge sedans..

Exactly. Do I believe the seller spent 35k to get it where it is? Sure, it’s very plausible. Would I spend 35k to take it off his hands? No, and sparingly few others if any would.

This is an excellent example of why the 25 year rule is idiotic. The rule should be 10 years at most, or if you insist for safety or emissions reasons, 5-10 years from countries with reasonable standards for such things (EU, UK, Canada,  Japan,  etc) and 30 years or more for countries without any real standards..

This is another sad to cast CP.  There's almost nothing about the car that isn't tasty,  but 35k is just too much money..

I think we’re all over the map because a lot of folks, myself included, read “2001", “diesel-swapped” and “$15,000" and jumped to the voting without reading all the fine print.

I feel like if the futurists are right, it was ahead of it’s time. For instance, a narrow half length electric car makes perfect sense in an urban car sharing service. As a personal vehicle, the only thing it had going for it was a hip factor, while something like a Kia Rio basically had it beat in every practical way

Starting near Dayton, Ohio I’ve gone to conferences in Raleigh, NC and St. Louis, MO. Since I hate flying.... I drove. Had a rental Chrysler 200 going to NC that was pretty nice for what it was. Apparently, even taking my old Sienna, like I did to Missouri, was much more comfortable than a train..  I think next year

I’d love a different year or maybe color scheme etc, and I wish it had a better name (like gonorrhea or clamidya), but for one of these in such clean condition for 2600? Easy NP.

I stand corrected. Next time I see a Suburban I’ll tell the owner “nice station wagon.” I’m sure it’ll be well recieved..

I like the definition, but by that definition a Suburban and the old 5 passenger short model Caravan are wagons...

“A number of automotive outlets are hypothesizing that the new EV will be a crossover, which would make sense given the public’s insatiable thirst for cars that give up handling and fuel economy for ride height.”

Can confirm,  this is easier than floor mats because of plastic tabs and valve caps because of the bending over/crouching

Would it be a hot take to say that the Neon was both a shitbox and better than one might expect?  My big objection was that the seat didn't go back far enough for me to able to drive one..

A (manual) Golf and all small SUVs are "shitboxes".  I approve this message.

We used to have the Mazda 5 in this market, which sounds very similar, except with better driving dynamics perhaps..

The thing makes me sick is knowing you're probably right..

The problem is idiots now have a platform to make money and acquire fame for things that used to simply get them jailed or killed..

Yeah, then here in the midwest an inground pool drops a property’s value by several thousand because it is a year round maintenance headache that’s only useful for about 4-5 months out of the year..

That’d be even better, so you’d have the flatbed and still have the trunk up front.

That’s not a bad idea, actually..  At a minimum,  I like the EV batteries for accessories idea at the very least..
