There were already some gems in there by the time I skimmed them this morning. Including one that I had to read three times before I realized that the comment was accusing people who DON'T think 300 is badass of being huge dorks.

I may have mentioned that in my new position I am steward to a bank of eight 3D printers. Today I have an early candidate for weirdest thing anyone will print: A bas-relief ice mold of Justin Trudeau's face.

I WAS WRONG IT'S BILL HADER!

"AND I'M ERIC" alert.

If any of you blinked and missed Great News' first airing, NBC is showing one of it's funniest episodes tonight after the Weekend Update special.

I tried the McD's Sriracha Chicken Sandwich (B-) today. The sauce is obviously the star; I want to try it with McNuggets. The rest of the sandwich was fine. I indulged in the buttermilk crispy chicken, which is sadly the best of the three patties available (the grilled is slimy; the burger is just sad), and it worked

New theory: Trump actually loves the bromance-with-Putin angle to his media coverage so much that he now plays it up at every opportunity, even though Putin has long since stopped reciprocating (if he ever did). How else do you explain this?

BTTF, then GBH, then Speed.

OMG why is that? My dad does it too and it drives me nuts.

I tried Coke Zero Sugar today from a freestyle machine.

I've been accessing it this way for years now (it's sooooo much lighter as a webpage, esp. on mobile) but I wasn't sure if Disqus would continue to host it once it becomes disconnected from the actual site. It's good to know that it will! But really that has the same problem as going to the forum's disqus page: no new

Yeah I agree that the forum is DOA. We should have been using it to archive important comments from the start but we didn't and now it can only serve as a tombstone (no offense Affro).

I just waded through all the Kinja Town Hall comments because I guess I wanted to feel depressed… and I do.

I kinda won't mind if they get the whole back-catalog on there and it costs a reasonable amount (say $7). The fact that the deal with Netflix wasn't retroactive means that the selection of classic films was incredibly spotty. Obviously I'd prefer that they just go in for a more extensive partnership with Netflix but

I feel like every community (certainly on reddit) is moving onto discord and I do not understand it. Like, I open up the web page and am confused. But I do recognize that it's probably very feature-rich and a better fit for what we do here than slack is.

Nah, the preservation will not actually be that difficult. From their end it's basically a single call from the disqus API into what I'm sure is a simple call in the Kinja API (after they migrate all the old articles of course, which they had to do anyway). Important features like upvotes and nesting will not be

I really hope that they'll still be accessible through their disqus urls but I don't know how long Disqus will be arsed to keep them around.

Yeah this has happened to quite a few movies. The draft chart should still have mostly accurate color-coding so just pick a green movie.

The basic spin from the town hall is "Kinja does not have any of the fundamental features required to continue the AV Club community as we know it, but it might someday!"
