The franchise has actually dabbled in this at times. Star Wars: The Clone Wars 2x09 "Legacy of Terror" is probably the closest we'll get. There was also a novel in Legends called Death Troopers that was basically Alien meets zombies meets Star Wars. I never read it but the premise sounded neat.
