Because it was a giant, clanging false note in one of the best female character arcs I have ever seen on television. I thought Moss’ acting in the scene ALMOST saved it, but the way they shoehorned that scene in there was just terrible, and that writing was cheesy as fuck. Peggy deserved better than that.
