I would buy this console even if Half Life 3 was an Xbox One exclusive.

It sometimes forgets my settings too. Other times it remembers my age. But If I enter it wrong somehow by mistake and it's not above 18 it's a bit funny to make it forget..

Well, Steam has an ingame browser. so you can pretty much do what ever you want there. except the video thingy, that's smart. but if I'd capture videos I would want to edit it before I upload or something. For me, a game experience is not something like being a tourist and taking photos of every shit I see...

Sure they would. I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories, so I don't think stuff like this will happen.

Although I sympathize with your sentiment, I can imagine (not irl, with no evidence, it's more like a thought experiment) that such a company would turn on the consumers for the very reason of trust they built up.

I'm glad there's a sane person in this wicked thread! This is a huge misconceptions people have about devs.

they are good at copying others. have you seen the Chinese version of tumblr? it's a total rip-off, and a bad one too.

you are right. the first argument for console was only that it is built to play games exclusively. not setup, no hassle with drivers and stuff. but by putting all this extra stuff in these boxes they essentially become a very restricted, dumbed down pc which you have zero control over.

yes, but remember, you are still resigning of your access to that service, so it doesn't really matter if it's a service or a product when you trade it. I still don't understand why people are so attached to this idea. You are exchanging ownership either way, so why would anyone pay twice for it? Yes, the plastic is

The thing is, you don't plug in those to function. The only thing a console should need to play games is juice from the power plants. Not internet. online games, sure. but don't tie me to the network just because you want to know what I'm doing on my console..

Nope, I think they are just neglecting the fact that it's an Xbox exclusive behavior.

hurrdurr, I can't believe you forgot Only God Knows. Also, they play something in Ben-To too, and Robotics:Note has that mini tablet thing.

You can't read neither :D I said genres, not games :D

That's an awfully comedic way to depict such a tragic. Nice, I laughed out loud!

I'm sorry but you just listed too many game genres that it's simply unrealistic to ask to put in a game. You see, there is a thing called game design, and if you want to be good at that, the first thing you learn is: "Don't do everything to be compelling to everyone" otherwise your game will suck.

There is slightly more about women, as it seems, than about video games at a conference about video games. It's interesting how most of them are about getting attention, and not actually talking about games. I'm not drawing a parallel between booth babes and the gender talks, of course.

You doesn't really have a choice ANYWAY. If you go out to public space, you are no longer in control of your privacy, you know that, right? That's why it's called being in public.. and that's your only reason? There are more ways to record you, and why do you even fear if you are recorded? Are you doing something bad

If anything was wrong with it, it's the lack of male dancers. If you want equality, and if these people are so hell-bent on making it, then..why isn't the issue is that there was NO male dancers? because, I call that unequal.

I noticed this at an other article, only the layout had the headline image above the author's avatar, and he look up right at it. It must be an elaborate ruse!
