Isn't Oliver Queen broke?
Isn't Oliver Queen broke?
Yeah, the stroll Eddie took Iris on was dumb. Even if she wasn't aware of the danger, he should have been. I agree.
I definitely do not hate Iris. I must have been unclear if any of my comments have indicated that. I don't hate anyone on this show. I never understood the hate directed toward Eddie, Iris, or Cisco. They've all either been fine or great, as far as I'm concerned.
I must have been unclear. I am glad Iris knows; I believe Joe or Barry should have told her sooner.
Gotcha. Well, it's The Flash, so I doubt we'll have to worry about things getting too dark.
Agree to disagree? I guess I wouldn't put Patton in the same league as Gustin because she doesn't have nearly as much screen time, but she does well with what she has, which is what I feel about the others I mentioned. I've said it before, I'll say it again: I like this cast. I don't have problems with anyone on it.…
IMO, it doesn't protect Iris to be ignorant, and I think knowing doesn't necessarily make her safer either. I believe that the most damaging part of the secrecy was the blow to the trust in her relationships with the people who are closest to her. Trust, imo, is a fundamental part of relationships and when people who…
Nope.
I think viewers concerned about Iris letting the cat out of the bag are probably forgetting one very important fact: it is highly unlikely the writers would ever allow such a thing.
Um, you do realize that Wells nearly killed Iris last week, when she didn't know Barry was the Flash and didn't know Wells was the Man in Yellow. She was already on Wells' radar simply because of her connection to Barry. So how is it bad that she now knows who the Flash is and that Wells is his mother's killer?
I respectfully beg to differ, iffy. I think her reactions were pretty normal.
The fun makes up for the stupid, and there is always lots and lots of fun to be had by all—even if it's the kind of fun that makes you bite your nails in terror… imo. :)
I can't see why Iris' knowing is any more of a risk than anyone else. I commented on last week's ep really late, so I'm repeating myself here, but the writers aren't going to be so stupid as to have Iris spreading the news about the Flash's secret identity just because she is a reporter. That would create massive…
Aha! I knew it! Eyeliner!
I'm not sure what your point is with this dialog. Are you trying to say that now that Iris knows that Barry is the Flash and writes about him, villains can grab her and find out his secret identity? But that's also true about Cisco, Caitlin, and Joe. Captain Cold knows that both Cisco and Caitlin work with the Flash;…
I think part of the problem—at least for me—is that Grodd really isn't that scary. Maybe that's because I don't have the back story from the comics. I'm not saying I wouldn't be terrified if Grodd was real and I had to face him without a tall, electrified fence between us, but last week's episode had my heart pounding…
I'm not really sure Patton (Iris) deserves kudos, as she's not necessarily better than the other actors. I would say that I don't think she deserves nearly as much heat as viewers have been giving her. It's the writing, not the actor, that has done a disservice to the character, imo. I think she's just as good as…
I made a similar comment (about funding, or the lack thereof) in my late, late comment on last week's episode. :)
I really enjoyed this episode. "A" grade from me. It's sort of embarrassing to admit, but it got my heart pounding with fear for the characters. It's a TV show, for crying out loud! None of this is really happening! Help me! This CW show is making me feel something! (Well, I guess that's a sign of good writing and…
Upvoted for spelling actor Tom Cavanagh's name right. :)
What can I say? I'm a stickler for things like that. I don't get how so many people commenting here enjoy his work and yet consistently misspell his name.
