I was first introduced to EST in the movie "Semi-Tough" starring Burt Reynolds and an ensemble cast that came out in 1977. The moderator of the group was the actor Bert Convy who actually attended EST sessions to prepare for the role. It made me wonder why anybody would ever want to attend such a torturous seminar…

I thought that Martha was "toast"last season when Clark removed his wig and glasses at the conclusion of the next to last show. I was surprised that she was still alive in "March 8, 1983" which concluded the season. I still do not understand who she thinks Clark is? Am I missing something? Are we supposed to know?
