The show has been so good for so long that we are all a bit spoiled ! As James Lawrence once said as he lay dying during a Naval battle, "Don't give up the ship!"

Hopefully, the show will end with Alicia getting sworn in as Chief Justice of SCOTUS after successfully completing two terms as POTUS. Peter will be running "The Florrick Global Initiative" together with Zach and Grace!

Their characters are a compilation of many public figures, but Bill and Hillary figure prominently! Like Bill and Hillary, Peter and Alicia will never break up. They need each other!

Have more faith! I believe the writers have known since last season exactly where they are taking us!

TGW has always been both a "legal drama" and a "political drama"! The very fact that all the commenters are wondering where the show will go now that Alicia has won, proves that the writers are doing their job. They are keeping us guessing! It is called "anticipation"! No show can survive without it!

Alicia will dump Peter the day Hillary dumps Bill ! It will be the day that Hell freezes over!

And miss out on the chance to see Elizabeth naked? Not a chance! :-)

I understand ! It was still too graphic and unnecessary! The episode would still have been a great success without it or with a tamed down version!

The scenes you are referring to are not "hard core", but the show would still be a success without them.

Hardly "everything"! I have never seen hard core sex on the show!

I would say that the director could easily have conveyed to us what was happening without the graphic detail. When the sex scenes occur, we know what is going on even if the director does not have a windstorm blow the covers off the bed and turn the scene into hard core pornography!

I understand your point of view! We see people killed on the show every week. I know they are not really killed, but if you get caught up in the action, you want to enjoy it. I do not enjoy see people being burned alive in such graphic detail. Put a scene like that in every episode and there will be no season 4. …

Of course not! Everybody connected with the show would be in jail and the SCOTUS would not declare it to be an unconstitutional restriction on free speech! The vote would be 8-0 with Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg recusing herself on the grounds that she was asleep during the screening of the show and oral argument! …

I agree, but we do not have a show be so graphic in order to be successful ! I say "Edit out "necklacing"! I was OK with the teeth!

She is probably setting us up for a return to the U.S. in Season 4 !

Writers thrive on ambiguity! If we knew all the answers, we would not tune in next week!
