But it was American Christians that went over there and started the whole anti-gay thing in the first place. It's a little late to worry about the damage that White Americans will do to the people of Uganda...

Correcting color is pretty basic before publication. I don't know why this was a headline.

Yeah... it looks like they just changed the white balance. Nbd. Hardly "photoshopped." You can do that with your shitty phone camera were you so inclined.

Color correction really isn't that big of a deal.

You're comparing denying LGBTQ access to information about their identities to the an drag queen mocking the death of a trans writer?

Your very own laws! How's that for specific? Or do you, like everyone else not understand the concept of prior restraint? I know they teach you this shit because I learned it in a US school.

I think this sums it up pretty well. It's not censorship for Huffpo to get rid of shitty content. They're not obligated to publish literally everything.

One more time for the people in the back: ONLY THE GOVERNMENT CAN CENSOR.

Nope. WHISTLEBLOWER & Heroine.

I can't imagine having a Drag Race alum depicting Parker's bloody murder on-camera is going to make her any more willing to engage in conversation.

Some thoughts:

It's not an analgam. I don't consider myself to be included in the parody (I also don't think I overreacted). It's painfully clear to anyone following this that it's supposed to be Molloy. If you've read all the back and forth it is obvious.

Three things:

I made the mistake of reading comments on a couple of articles on other sites. I could feel the rage building. And then there's this: "The only impact of the district court ruling was changing Manning's name on military records, but not his confinement status, Army spokesman George Wright said." (AP, quoted by NPR)

So that justifies acting out her murder? Because that's what you're saying. Immature tweet or not, I think the response is completely incommensurate.

For some of us, if you have GD you must have the surgery. Because of your unique situation. I'm fairly well adjusted, but I'm also strictly binary, without surgery I would have a far lower quality of life.

We call those people "non-op," as in, they chose against having gender reassignment surgery for whatever (personal) reasons. In a way, you're right; surgery isn't necessary.....for everyone. But for others it is necessary. For some, it is life saving.

You clearly haven't read very much at all about gender dysphoria and

I didn't say surgery. I said treatment. Like, for example, HRT, which Chelsea has expressed interest in pursuing.

I'm a little surprised at the level of animosity directed towards people who label her a traitor and those who don't. This is complicated - very complicated. As with the Edward Snowden case, I still am unsure where I stand. They did both break the law (and it is very very different than an authorized leak by Pentagon

Actually, "seeking to have things removed" IS "voicing their opposition to something." And what defense is there to someone saying I should get shot in the head? What's the opposing viewpoint there? Simply, "No, don't shoot me in the head."
