I appreciate the explanation, and respect your opinion, but it's also one I whole-heartedly (but respectfully) disagree with.
The event at said place was gender-neutral (basically, a Chuck E Cheese for adults), but the male counterparts were told it was a girl's only night.
Wow, overreact to an example while you're at it...oh wait...
And yet, I dated a woman a few years back whose stance on men going to a strip club without their partners as "well just what do you have to hide?".
Real thing...was more than a little disappointed I couldn't go, and so were a few of my friends who were ALSO uninvited to go with their female SO's.

Agreed. I use that to drag movies from my network shares to my tablet before I go on a road/air trip...too lazy to actually PLUG it into my computer.
I block Facebook for my company at management's insistence, but I don't block anything else (and won't, unless ordered to).

Counterpoint: I'd rather have it done when I WON'T remember the event and the recovery.
