Sure it can be seen as decietful, but it’s still a kickstarter. Just like an investment there is a risk that you’ll get the proverbial fuck in the butt. I’m not saying it’s ok, or good, or that people shouldn’t care, I’m just saying that I don’t. I know there are risks to kickstarters, and one of those risks is

I think we got very different impressions of the kickstarter. I thought it looked like a cool concept, nice art and I like 2D strategy games so I was all “take ma moneyz”.

Thank you ^^

We’ll see if it is a complete bait-and-switch when the game comes out (although a lot of things make it seem so). I don’t know if it is grounds for legal action. If it is I would completely understand people taking them to court. I, personally, just feel “meh, too bad”. As I pointed out elsewhere that might have with

Well yes. It is... But still something about the whole kickstarter thing makes me go “meh. too bad.”. But this might have to do with the fact that I rarely spend more money than the minimum amount required to get the game. If I had backed something with hundreds of dollars I’d probably been raging...

I’d also like to remind people of Gay sex - a great variation on the original game. Some say it’s even better.

This must be a very individual thing. I watched the video in the article and I honestly couldn’t see that much of a difference between 30 fps and 60 fps. It would be fun to see a comparison of a 2D strategy game or something like X-Com or Civ V as well, too see if there is any difference at all. The “all games running

So your suggestion on how to handle the short term problem is?

Yeah, US healthcare has the best facilities and doctors, but it’s only available to a few. In overall health they rank pretty bad. One reason, as I understand it, beeing that the relatively high cost of health care prevents people from going to the doctor until it’s to late and then they require really expensive care.

See, I agree with you completely on the long term thing. All the things causing refugees to flee must be solved somehow, just sitting and waiting for everyone to come here is not a solution. And I think that most of them would’ve prefered to have been able to stay in their homecountries.

But that does not take away the

I backed it. This sucks really hard. But at the same time I can’t get as riled up about it as I feel like I should, after all I knew the risks of backing a kickstarter.

I don’t know what to say... Wow.....

Yeah... You missed my point.

See what you miss there is that crime has not increased. It has been at relatively stable levels or seen a decrease since the eighties, i.e before a lot of refugees came to Sweden. So there is nothing that indicates that our rape statistics will increase.

If our rape statistics are “stupidly high”, and if so why, is a q

I’m sorry about the bold thing. It seems like it happens when I copy paste quotes and I didn’t notice until too late. There was no intention of beeing obnoxious.

“50% are not fleeing from war.”

I don’t know if this figure is true. I tend to be very sceptical about numbers without a source these days. But even if it is, aren’t those people being denied resident permits? That’s what happens in Sweden, if you’re not elegible then you don’t get to stay and get sent back (often to

No, they should come here. In my experience all the refugees I’ve “seen” (have you just been looking at them?) have been:

1) honest
2) kind and caring
3) industrious

...So, based on my personal experience, the only people who apparently flee from their country are the people their country wants.

(See what I just did?)

I feel the same way about Sweden. For the first time I feel proud. And I am so happy to see that we’re not falling pray to simple xenofobia.

I can’t say anything about what German politicians have said. The original post implied that politicians in Sweden was suggesting this. Which they don’t.

“Feed them? Who’ll pay for that? Who’ll pay for the housing?”

We, the people of the member states of the EU will.

“You do realize that half of these countries have problems with their own population being in poverty”

Yes. But Lebanon, Turkey and other countries next to Syria are taking in millions and they seem to
