Uh... do u know how many freakin’ cattle and dogs there are compared to cassowaries? Think about that, then then think about your question, then get back to us.
Goddamn, that’s brutal.
People wonder how Republicans seem immune to facts, this is it right here: if you’re saying something they don’t agree with they just decide you’re not equal and thus not worth listening to
To my shame, my friends and I did something similar to this in middle school (early 00's). A few years into high school, one of the girls told me that she knew about it and that it hurt her deeply. I remember feeling just absolutely awful about it (surely not as bad as it probably made her feel as a 13-14 year old…
Don’t discount the state school just because of the allure of Yale. The Ivy might be a better choice, but local schools can often be just as emotionally and intellectually fulfilling, with a great alumni network for post-grad opportunities.

The money quote:
Ask and you shall recieve:
So Stephens took the high road and you wrote a bunch of emails that look like they could have been written by an angry 12 year-old, and you actually think that by writing this and copying those emails and publishing them, we’re going to take your side?
Thank you for sharing that. I also had an early abortion and while I know I made the right decision the whole experience was traumatic and I continue to mourn to this day. Most abortion narratives describe early abortions of unexpected/unwanted pregnancies* as a relief, and I felt like a bad feminist for being so…
My wife and I went through a very similar experience, but we are in Ohio. Went in for a routine check up at 20 weeks. The doctor came in and told us they suspected he had bilateral renal agenesis, meaning he didn’t develop kidneys and likely wouldn’t be able to develop lungs. Told us they have only ever had one case…
As a parent, I can’t imagine how heart-wrenching this must have been. Thank you for being brave enough to share it.
Thank you for sharing your story. I’m so completely sorry for your loss. I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant. Had something similar happened during my 20 week u/s, I know I would have made the same decision you had.
If the police come to your house just to talk, they can’t even come in the door unless you consent, let alone search. It seems like they first came to his house just to question him. After that, they must have returned with a warrant and done the search that found the girl. Had they searched without the warrant, and…
I had an abortion at 15 weeks to remove my already dead fetus. Although it was simple and quick the process, quite frankly, sucked. It hurt, I felt sick and sore for a couple of days afterwards.
Probably not. If they came back four hours later, I assume that a) they were getting a search warrant or b) they needed more justification, IE-seeing the girl through the windows.
Fuck everyone in this story except for the girl and the police who found her. I hope all of these terrible adults get exactly what they deserve.
