At my previous job there was a guy who took his wife’s name. He said he grew up in a foster family that he never really felt a part of and his wife’s family was always welcoming. I thought it was a sweet, meaningful gesture but boy-oh-boy did he get crap for it from other people. On the other side, my mom kept her

She is not being coerced. She thinks the person telling her to give him the phrase is one of his doctors. She believes she is helping him.

Gotta love the goatee, though. The little bit of gray on each side makes the look.

Oops, sorry if I spoil you the movie. Should have put this gif before my comments...........

They’re talking about Avengers 4, which at least at the beginning, Fury was one of the people disintegrated, leaving Coulson her only point of contact in the present.

Part of the tension of the movie might be that Carol shows up and has no one to contact. It’s cheap, but it will help drag the movie out.

Now playing

There’s a creep standing over her shoulder while she reads off a piece of paper. She’s clearly under coercion.

Agent Davis is the red shirt who can’t die. That’s actually amazing.

But these guys (Batali, Lauer, Rose) really don’t consider WHETHER to mount a comeback. Because they all hold on themselves in such high regard, it’s WHEN. When can the public look past their misdeeds. When have people forgotten or stopped caring. When can they go back to being rich, pampered celebrities who get

noble, that.

It’s very true! That’s likely the source of this particular fox, as many of the foxes bred from that program were white-furred or had otherwise unusual fur colors, I believe. Whether they’re good pets, though, is not entirely clear.

People (in Russia naturally) have created a breed of domesticated foxes that are supposed to be wonderful pets that combine the independence of a cat with the affection of a dog. I have no idea if these claims are true.

.... I mean, having a fox could be way better than having a dog. They’re so cute!!

did the judge rule the way he did because he was constrained by the law and precedent at the time

Me: “Persky? The judge who gave Brock Turner that bullshit sentence? I can’t imagine any way I could dislike him more.”

Its the latter.

Way to read the crowd and get back on the side of good public opinion you fucking motherfucking fuck.

Fuck this judge, but also his notion that judges are simple machines executing the letter of the law. They are no more or less biased than the rest of us. They should be afforded the protection to do their job impartially. He’s already demonstrated his inability to do so.

Can we not call it a box?
