To me it seemed significant that as Spidey was disintegrating, he was saying “I don’t want to go” rather than “I don’t want to die.” That gives me hope that all the people killed with the snap went somewhere else, e.g. the Soul Stone, rather than dying.

I actually have a terrible feeling that the movie we saw was just one of the possible futures that Dr Strange saw... that they’ll save everybody by it not having happened.

Apparently I need to clarify. By “bad sex” I don’t just mean sex that is boring or unsatisfying, although that also qualifies. I also mean sex that makes you feel worse afterward than you did before. You don’t need to have good sex to know that sex that’s painful, frightening, or humiliating is bad. But a lot of

The whole “incel” viewpoint assumes that any sex is better than no sex. But there are women who are having nothing but bad sex and who might actually be happier celibate. It’s impossible to know how common this is, but young women often have a lot of bad sex before they start having sex that they actually enjoy, if

Women tend to internalize pain; men externalize it.

And when you’re as ubiquitous as Amazon, things like “brand loyalty” cease to be a concern or even a relevant data point. It is a non-factor.

I was about to point that out.

Not according to the Red Cross. It’s slightly more complicated because the rules are different for red blood cells vs. plasma, but O- blood lacks the A and B antigens and Rh factor, and therefore will mount an immune reaction against blood that contains any of them.

Yes, my first thought was that finding a donor is a little tricker for people with type O blood. O- is the universal donor, but can only accept O- blood. Maybe some of these patients needed infusions?

An amuse bouche if you will.

The basic idea, which has been around for decades, is an artificial pancreas, yes. The technology is getting quite good; there are now some insulin pumps that adjust delivery automatically based on blood sugar readings, but only the basal rate, so it’s still necessary to bolus for meals.

Yeah, but I don’t think that the audience would like to see the Avengers killing someone who was at that moment defenseless. It’s not hero behavior, even though it would undeniably be practical in the circumstances.

That’s all very nice, but what I want is an implanted closed-loop insulin pump.

During the whole scene where they’re trying to get the gauntlet off, I was muttering “Just cut his arm off! Why are they trying to get the gauntlet off? Just cut off the damn arm!”

Yeah, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that at least three people (Steve, Rocket, Okoye) see someone they care about die for the second time (Bucky, Groot, T’Challa).

I didn’t felt shocked by the deaths but I felt shocked for the ones who lived and how they must feel with such a great loss.

I’m really curious as to how teleporting Peter out would’ve still ended in them losing lol.

Dr Strange wanted it to happen that way, whatever he saw in the future possibility of them getting the gauntlet off obviously didn’t work.

He even mention “it was necessary.”

Yes, I thought that was quite clear: Dr. Strange says there was only one out of 40 million (or something) futures where they beat Thanos. And then as he’s dissolving he says “It was the only way.”
