I’m sure there are people who really want to experience labor, but I was not one of them. The actual moment of birth is pretty cool, but labor? Nah.

Next up: how to tell when a girl really means “no"!

I had never heard of this show before this and spent the last week bringing myself up to date. Wow. This is some of the best comedy I’ve seen in a while.

Yeah, along with the food and blankies, I hope they sent a pot to piss in.

Here’s hoping the prosecution brings that up in cross.

If you don’t care WHY women are wearing burkinis, then what is the difference between women who wear them for religious reasons and women who wear something very similar because they are fair-skinned and easily sunburned?

I don’t regret our daughter’s first or middle name, but I do sometimes regret giving her a hyphenated last name.

Dammit, I’m old....

And if women were as strong as two or more men, then gang rape would not exist!

Indeed.

From the Ebony interview:

Yes! Burkini bans don’t promote freedom of dress for Muslim women, they just prevent women from going to the beach!

I agree. If you look at the original article, the students not only have witnesses, but emails and other documents.

I was wondering about crosses. Thanks.

I’ve seen Orthodox Jewish women wearing similar swimsuits.

My husband has long, thick, curly hair, and during the times our daughter has brought head lice home, he’s been miserable. He has to go to a professional lice-comber, because I don’t have the patience to comb him out.

We’ve been through several rounds of head lice, and it’s true that they are mostly an annoyance. The best method to eradicate them, we have found, is careful combing.

She is booooooooring.

Maybe it’s okay as long as you don’t eat Mexican avocados? That’s what I’m banking on.

Sylvia Plath calls them “avocado pears” in The Bell Jar.
