Thanks. I work with a rescue that gets mostly pits because of people and their unfounded “information”. This is incredibly annoying and damaging to the pit breeds and Im glad that there are some people on here that are like wtf are you saying.

Yeah, no matter how much you talk about the facts to people, though, they will still spout the same rhetoric about how all pit bulls are going to “snap” and kill you one day. I understand why people think that, but I just hate misinformation, especially since the consequences are so dire for perfectly good dogs.

Sure, I get being afraid of certain dogs. I have developed a fear of large German Shepherds, just because there is a giant, dog-aggressive one in my building and another crazy one with a questionable owner in my neighborhood. It’s an involuntary, uncomfortable, physical reaction that I would like not to have.

Yeah...most pits don’t actually attack people. So if you are walking down the street and see someone walking a pit, just pass them normally, like you would any other dog. No need to scream or run away or do anything weird. The dog will most likely ignore you, like most dog do.

Over 250 people have been exonerated from death row. 250 innocent people who could have been murdered by our govt if it hadn’t been found out in time they were innocent. Many of those were race related as well. The death penalty is not an action we can take back if we’re wrong.
