I was reading elsewhere that some of these vultures were even riding their motorcycles (or maybe scooters) on the sidewalks at pretty high speeds. I don’t care what you think of this couple, but this is ridiculous.

I’m really struggling to figure out which part of this anecdote is shocking.

I find that the folks that show up to camp sites with a bunch of these things on a trailer always turn out to be the most obnoxious people around.

You didn’t read (or understand) my response did you? I specifically said that I was curious as to how bad it is, exactly because of those articles.

This is the same level of hate that folks throw at truck owners. Go anywhere in Colorado in the spring through fall months and you’ll see trucks hauling campers everywhere. People own trucks to do truck things around here, even they they also use them to go shopping and drop the kids off at school.  Haters gonna hate.

I saw a similar story a while ago and decided to do some actual math on a NY strip steak dinner from our local Texas Roadhouse (not a particularly expensive restaurant) vs cooking at home. I saw the new Crown at the Denver Auto Show recently and while it looks pretty nice, the interior was disappointing. It was very cheap looking, especially at the price point.

I see a Mighty Max at our local diner almost every weekend. It is rusty as hell but still sounds good and starts right up. Downside is it is covered in MAGA and Trump stickers.

US prices for Minis are nuts. A co-worker of mine imported 2 of them from England about 20 years ago, He covered the entire cost for both of them by selling one of them off here.
