I feel like movies such as Paranormal Activity, you have a crowd filled with people that believe in the paranormal and are also trying too hard to convince themselves that the film is scary. Just awful in every possible way.

I actually think this year has been quite solid for horror. Besides It Follows, I really dug Cub, We Are Still Here, and if you want to stretch the limits of the genre Turbo Kid was excellent, and The Nightmare was pretty cool.

The trailer for The Visit had me laughing out loud before the words "M. Night Shymalan" even hit the screen. Not a good sign.

The horror flick that I'm most curious to see is The Final Girls. Adam Devine as a frat-bro in a throwback comedic slasher seems like a coup to me.

Depending on the point of view, the lack of likes and retweets these have is either great or makes this story even more depressing.

Later era Simpsons is just so egregious with characters that should have been one time deals becoming regulars.

Gil to me is the harbinger of the end times more than any other character. He also falls into a later season problem of making character's that should have been one offs re-occurring.
