I had the same problem, and couple that with the fact that the game devolved into letting auto battle do every fight for me even on the hardest difficulty completely murdered and buried my enthusiasm for that game. Sylvando is still great tho
Ive personally made mental note of about a dozen or so people I see consistently in my realm, some I’ve partied some I’ve just seen a lot. I love seeing them in general chat or around the world and getting a sense for how they've been progressing alongside me
We live in a country that spends nearly a trillion dollars on the military every year and glorifies every soldier as though they’re a war hero, we don’t need to worry about video games saying shooting people and blowing shit up is cool when our own government glorifies that shit enough in real life
6 is a dumpster fire, but I think 5 is great as a co-op experience
Yeah, and it’s not like you can just buy the $100 bundle and have all the gold you’ll need, they expect that players will pay for these transactions repeatedly.
It depends on the context and type of DLC. I’m not a Smash fanboy, I haven’t really played the series since Melee, but I would say that for Smash Ultimate it’s acceptable.
Firstly, the roster with the base game is hilariously large and no one can reasonably say that they cut characters to sell them piecemeal as DLC.…
The number of completely game-breaking, potentially character-ruining bugs that I’ve encountered in Bethesda games (Playing Survival mode on Fallout 4 is a complete gamble since you can’t reload old saves) is unforgivable. In those cases, bugs did stop me from having fun in Bethesda games.
I think a big problem with it is that the wall it creates is just too much, even in non-aggro matchups where you just want to effectively trade minions with your opponent. Without spells or minions like knife juggler on the board, the only way to handle getting through GI taunts is with 4 different sources of damage, m…
I just need clarification on something in here, is there an assertion that because Dark Souls is difficult it leads to a toxic, Male-dominated environment? I understand the difficulty definitely leads to a certain level of gatekeeping, but I never felt that it was meant to keep out women, just people who aren’t up for …
To me it seems like multiplayer games have stopped being about having fun with a game with other people, and more about genital measuring and griefing others til they just quit, it’s why I’ve been playing retro games recently
“What we’ve learned is that a large majority of parents don’t know what a loot box is. Even those who claim they do, don’t really understand what a loot box is. So it’s very important for us to not harp on loot boxes per se, to make sure that we’re capturing loot boxes, but also other in-game transactions.”
In other…
I have a friend who used to drink at least 6 cans of Monster a day simply for the pleasure of it. I didn’t get it.
Huh, sort of reminds me of finding the Great Hollow and Ash Lake in DS1, and that was one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had playing a video game. If there’s more spots like this in the game then I’m all for it.
Currently playing on a PS4 Pro and I regret not getting it on PC, specifically for the load times. They are so brutal that I actually stopped myself from backtracking multiple times since the loading screens would have taken up too much time (usually about a minute per screen). Citing these load times in the review is…
WoW recently introduced the idea of micro holidays in patch 7.1.5. These are tiny events that last a couple days and offer no real rewards but give players an option for something else to do with a bit of flavor. I’d imagine this would fall under that category.
Thank you so much for the clarification, I was really wondering about this.
My girlfriend has a passing interest in video games which generally results in just watching me play for a little while or occasionally playing Lego Star Wars. She played Breath of the Wild for hours. I would wake up in the middle of the night to find her farming for materials and exploring to the point where I was…
Not going to lie, one of my first thoughts after the initial Jontron debacle happened was “I wonder what Grant Kirkhope thinks of this” since he seemed really friendly with Jon on the Game Grumps episode he guest-starred in. Guess I got my answer.
I used to play online with my uncle but once the exploits started I just couldn’t keep up with the cheaters, uncle included. Every time I try to play it’s ruined by a cheater whose only reason for playing seems to be to troll other people, so I’ve just given up at this point, which is sad because I really wanted to…
