Actually no.. they’re not totally out there. I’ve described the trailer to SEVERAL people and the first thing they’ve said is “Wait, so it’s an Abe Sapien origin story??”. At that point I remind them that actually, Abe Sapien was around long before this story takes place.

I think the new movie’s attempts to really bear down on the late 70's aesthetic of the original trilogy has gone too far with Snoke’s saffron yellow robe.
