I've been a long time member of JeepForum and have mixed feelings about this (same login as here). I first read it and laughed, but the longer I thought about it the more I felt sorry for the girl. She actually tried to get some opinions from knowledgeable people and got it thrown back in her face.

1. BFG KM2

@rawtoast: This is the only good answer for this question. That is a thing of beauty.

@jeepfreak: That's my kind of thinking right there.

@BrtStlnd: I think every car culture has it's posers. Most Jeep buyers start off as posers and get the bug the first time they do make it off road. I know that's what happened to me and then I ended up with this:

@Baby Beater Benz: A buddy of mine swapped the 4BT in his TJ. The thing is an insane beast.

Well crap, now I want a Jeep Rat. Wonder what my LJ would look like.?

I've pimped this here before, but I hope it turns out more like this.

@hawkeye18: It's really sad that this is 100% true . . . and I will watch it and enjoy it.

What? I always carry intakes around with me. They're the new black.

I so want to try that on the Jeep now, but I'd end up with way too many parts leftover and some serious Death Wobble.

Ya'll shouldn't make fun of Dan Roth like that in a headline. Even if he's at a rival site.

@OA 5599: I would like to subscribe to your newsletter fine sir.

Pontiac Sunfire.

I have to cast a vote for the off-road guys. Before I got my Jeep I could barely change a starter or alternator. After spending time on the Jeep forums and being encouraged to do stuff on my own, I can pretty much fix anything, to the point that I even regeared my own axle.

@Drone637: Yep. My first 2.5 TJ cracked the manifold and another guy I wheel with has gone through 2 factory manifolds. If you're a member of a Jeep club, at least one member will be running with a cracked manifold at all times.

It's been said several times in the comments, but pretty much every manifold on a Jeep was designed to crack.

@Skink: No, you just replace the carpet with bedliner like I did.
