Literally went through this about 4 months ago when I saw an article on Jalop about huge dealer rebates on the Abarth.
The Abarth experience is pretty spectacular. Going to Laguna Seca and driving an Abarth without mercy is pretty special.
SRT/Abarth and you get the SRT/Abarth Track Experience. Both are nice because you aren't limited to Utah like the ST folks....

I completely agree. I think they mistaked quick sales for a sign of a popular mainstream car. What they were getting were the portion of Mini-lovers who were fed up with Mini at that point.

The Volvo C30. On paper, it's perfect, a stylish premium hatch with an optional turbo 5, it was going to give the GTI/Scirocco and MINI a ride for their money, it didn't.
The Corvair! The first gen had a suspension that tried to kill you and while the second gen corrected that and was starting to pick up power they killed the car before it could be fully realized. Every time I wonder what a third gen Corvair would be like a little piece of my soul dies.
How about the Saturn Sky/Pontiac Solstice? Should have been a contender to the Miata but just couldn't compete.
