I dig the Officine Mermaid, the others I could live without. The brushed and bronze/gold really compliment each other more than I thought they would. I've been toying with the idea of that color on my CB450.

Yeah, I use mine to commute as well. I'm telling you, they have us nailed down . . . I'm a designer too.
No shit. I am dead set in the target audience too. Late 30s, new rider, vintage Honda CB owner, going to be ready for my first NEW bike at time of release. I think I may actually be excited about these more than all the new releases at the Detroit show.
Wait, I will get to choose between this and the Scrambler . . . that's going to be a lot of fun. Can't wait to see what the production models look like.
Hmmmmm, My e24 only got 7-10% Time for the manual swap.
That's awesome. I love that this post is where my hobby, passion and work all collide. I am former designer/creative director now on the engagement/innovation side of publishing and I am in the process of building my first bike . . . a 73 CB450. Love the work you're doing on EXIF. Well written, great photos, great…
Did exactly that . . . This blog and Blake Rong's Monterey article were hands down what finally made me get started.
Holy crap. Now I want a V-12 e24. That would be the greatest GT car ever made.
They are making that again brand spanking new . . . but as a 400. And it's still kick-start only.
I did just that same thing recently. Found a 73 Honda CB450. Perfect starter street bike for me.
For me it wasn't really a bike as so much as reading Blake Rong's account of going to Monterey Car Week with Zach Bowman and Chris Cantle. I had ridden a lot of MX and toyed with the idea of getting a street bike, but it all just clicked after that article and listening to them on the Hooniverse podcast. So I went and…
I dream of doing something like this to the interior of my e24. Then I realize I am not a fabricator and don't have enough scratch to pay someone to do it.
Oh how I miss my Wrangler . . . And its true . . . they are fine stock, but when you mod them oh the places you can go.
I want to do this to my Abarth now. I just need a crate engine and Bill Gates PIN to a bank account.
I'm not a complete novice, I raced a lot of MX during my teens, and commute about 20 miles on a road bike to work every day (late 30s now so I am well past my boy racer stage). I really, really like the look of the Enfield, but I'll take your word it's crap. The V7 Stone looks awesome but the nearest dealership is two…
I think I am who you are talking to. I have some MX experience and in my late 30s now I am looking for my first street bike because there are products that actually appeal to me. I sought out some opinions on Twitter a day or two ago from Zack Bowman, and Damon on a few bikes like the Conti GT, Scrambler and such. The…
We have the C and still love it. Drove sit from FL to NC a couple of weeks ago. Great on the open road and in the mountains. I would 100% recommend the convertible as long as you don't have to haul a lot of stuff. Trunk is tiny.
