I have a 7/10 89 BMW 635csi that I have been thinking about restomodding. It needs some suspension work anyway, but the engine and auto trans are in good shape. Interior is a solid 9/10. I really want to give it a go, but I feel like there's not enough of these around to take one in this condition too far away from

I have been toying with the idea of doing a restomod on my 89 E24

Anything that looks like this . . . leaving the parking lot of the currently playing chapter of F&F.

Coming from that background, I read the headline as how much compressed air can you get in the tube frame/rollbars to use as OBA for tire pressure and air tools. There's so much home-brewed fabrication in the 4X4 world it's incredible.

I have have mixed feelings for Mini as a company. The wife and I have an 06 Cooper S that she daily drives and we use as a touring car on road trips like the Dragon. We both love the way the MCS drives, handles, looks, etc . . . ZERO complaints there. But we both despise everything else the company designs.

This is so true. It's liberating to just have something that has character and soul, with no pressure of turning the key, praying it starts so you can get to work Monday. I bought my E24 with the intention of daily driving it, but over time I realized I was neglecting problems because I didn't have enough time on the

Depends on the factors.

Solstice (or any Kappa) GXP Coupe. Tunable engine, sorry, sorry interior . . . zero storage space in the convertable. Pretty much any Solstice still makes me turn my head to this day. In fact, I was minutes away from buying one but stopped dead in my tracks once I thought about storing anything in the trunk. The

It's easy for me, they always give me the head nod in traffic when I'm in my daily driver (89 635CSI). I try to do the same when I see someone driving something unique or a car you know they put a lot of care into.

There was a black 8C for sale down in Naples a few months ago too.

Sigh

WHY!? Why would someone do this to that poor Shark? Imma go throw up.

Shhhhh, please don't mention #2 a lot. I like buying "high milage" BMWs at a fraction of the original cost.

After looking it up, I was going to post Bruce Willis because of the E24 in Moonlighting, it's even the same color as my current daily driver.

High-end exotics are rather common here in town (I'm in Sarasota) and all I can say is, I am surprised this doesn't happen more. The town is a perfect mix between the haves and the elderly.

Yep, that about sums up my experience of driving the Dragon. Way to much concentration to be "fun." But, worth it none the less. I did it in a Cooper S, no way I'm doing it it a big RWD or even AWD car.
