No shame in looking to guides for Elden Ring help. Hell, i have played and finished a couple of previous soulsborne games and i still look to guides or streamers for help.

Of course taking time off when people are reaching the point of burn-out is important, but i do feel like this entire project has been managed incredibly poorly yet again. Do the people at 343 not know how project management works? How setting realistic timeframes work?

Not in gamedevelopment, but also been working from home since the beginning of COVID, and the best part about the whole pandemic is that my entire company turned hybrid, in that they just don’t give a fuck anymore where and when you work. If you want to go to the office 5 days a week cause that works for you, feel

I watched the IGN review the other day, and had to do 3 double takes to check if the vid was indeed streaming in HD. Unbelievable how bad the game looks.

Ubisoft just doesn’t know how to make exploration great. I loved Odyssey, but i loved it because like you say, it had good writing. I was hopping from island to island enjoying that islands main quest, and then abandoning the island once i was done with the quest.

What we see here is the top 1% of Destiny crying about “end game viability”. The main complaint against the prolonged invisibility i see on reddit is that “with a proper fireteam people don’t die in GMs anyway so who needs revives”.

I just want to say that in the picture chosen for the article, she looks like a Ghoul from fallout 3.

Man, what a shame. One of my favorite comedians when i was growing up. I never idolize people but it still feels wrong that someone who got a whole bunch of laughs out of me ends up being a fucking asshole.

Most people i saw online at the time seemed to agree that googles track record of supporting new services or apps was at the best spotty, and at the worst called Stadia doomed to fail. There was a vocal minority saying this was the future but most people though it was destined to failed considering its weird launch

Yeah, i don’t get it either. I grew up playing 8 bit games on my NES and later gameboys, but damn, 16 bit is just so much better. Who looks back at the NES and SNES era and says “Metroid 1 and Zelda 1 are superior to Super Metroid and LttP”.

Video’s like this always make me so happy that i’m not living in the states.

Yeah, i don’t get these people either. Is your life truly so empty and hollow that complaining about a reused climbing animation is the most important thing going on in your life?

This this this this this. They’re all fucking trash because they try REALLY hard to destroy your back by “supporting” it.

A big difference is that with your “study magic” you were only damaging your own well being, not that of an entire studio of people who also worked on a project.

Halo 3 released when i was 19, just moved out of my parents house and rented a place with my best friend. We had 2 TVs in the living room, both with our own 360 hooked up. We spent way too many nights doing nothing but drinking and playing Halo. One of the best times of my life.

This is how the internet works, and especially shit like reddit where upvoted comments are the top comments. The cynicism starts to feed off of itself, and it becomes an echo chamber where any counter point isn’t even discussed or read because it doesn’t get upvoted.

Destiny 2 is the best game i would never recommend to anyone in it’s current state. I love playing it from time to time, and the story has become so good over the past year, but i can’t recommend it to people who never played it because there’s no way they can actually get into the game, and thats only getting worse

Bought it during the current steam sale and it is very good! Enjoyed it way more then i expected. The boss battles could have been a little tougher, but overall its a fantastic game. The music is great, exploration is great, combat is great and so far the story is motivating me enough to move forward. $15 well spent.

Forza Horizon maybe? Played it on PC a bit and thought it looked fantastic.

Came in expecting this guy to spit some bars during downtime in the game but holy shit he’s laying them down WHILE laying all his opponents down.
