I’m always a bit baffled that with a game like this, that is the reason people lose interest.

The internet is a hell dimension powered by unchecked data collection and advertisements. In an ideal world, ads would be kept to a minimum, allowed only on the backs of magazines people keep in their bathrooms, which nobody actually reads. But even in this fallen world, there’s a point at which ad proliferation

I can highly recommend this game, even while it’s in early access. The gameplay loop itself lends itself perfectly to the genre and the way the story unfolds with each progressive run makes it feel like the game is already kind of complete, despite a final act missing(i think?).

Not OP but i can agree with the both of you. I too am somewhat fatigued by the endless amount of open world games that think bigger is always better. It mostly isn’t. I also really enjoyed Outer Worlds because it was so short. I think i finished it in 25 hours. It also helped that the overal quality of the game just

Man, if i’d want to buy a series X i’d also have to be buying a new piece of TV furniture, cause this just wouldn’t fit in my old one. I’m curious to see how big the PS5 ends up being. From the mockups i’ve seen online its even bigger, though a bit flatter as well.

Yeah, while i loved the Wii and a lot of games on it, one of my major frustrations with the platform was that games forced motion controls into their games even where it made little to no sense.

Yeah, and to me the problem with Halo is that they somehow feel like they have to incorporate all of the extended universe stuff into the main game.

This is going to be it for Bioware, isn’t it? If this game is a failure as well, i doubt they’ll survive for very long. I hope they manage to make it something special. Dragon Age has always been one of my favorite fantasy universes so i hope they can finally make a good game again after 2 failures.

Interesting that you’d finish DA:I multiple times but not get Traspasser. It’s a fantastic piece of DLC from a story perspective and the gameplay itself is a lot of fun as well. I’d highly recommend it, even for $15.

Yeah, it felt like they had trouble deciding what to do with Halo when the rest of the shooter genre moved forward. The rest of the genre was moving away from the arcady shooters of before, but for Halo that remained its key selling point. With 4 and onward to me it always felt like they had huge trouble trying to

The absolute best things about these slideshows is that if you accidentally click on the play button of any youtube vid in 1 slide, it will continue to play right through all of your other slides. Fantastic site design, really loving it!

Yeah, the silver lining to silksong being absent again is that the game is probably going to be huge.

Thanks for the tip. I hadn’t been paying attention to mobile browsers too much lately so i missed that there are now ad block options on android as well. I’ll try it out!

Yeah, used to visit the site on mobile quite often but i stopped doing that. I had the site whitelisted on my desktop browser as well, but i put adblocker back on. It’s a shitstain of a website now, and the best of lists, with the click through pages are the worst if you don’t use adblock.

The car instantly goes from decepticon sidekick to megatron reincarnated. The top car i would buy, the bottom one i would probably sell ASAP even if i won it in a lottery.

Never knew about channels like these, but the above clip was very fun. It reminded me a lot about when i first heard the song. My then GF was an avid Collins and Genesis fan and thought the song rocked, i liked the overal feel of it and then the drum part came on and BAM you’re hooked.

The best part for me is that it’s a game i can enjoy with my casual friends who suck at the game, but that i can also enjoy when playing competitively with my higher leveled friends.

Bloodborne was my first soulsborne as well and i can relate so much to your experience. I bought the game years ago but kept dying to the first executioner you meet and put the game away. Then in march i gave it another try, and just kept going.

Yeah, BotW is, for me, the best open world game to date, followed closely by The Witcher 3, but both of them are so different that outside of the label “open world” you can’t really compare them.

I think a part of the problem also lies with gamers themselves. Some people feel the urge to play every single one of these games, and of course fatigue sets in at some point if you do that.
