Lets be honest, that situation is exactly the kind of highlight reel play we’ll see flooding reddit and what not a week or 2 after launch. This is a series where people fly a jet plane, jump from their plane, shoot a rocket at the guy tring to take them down, parachute and then somehow end up in their jet again.

That actually looks delicious. Though it also looks like something i’d make myself, not something i’d pay top dollar for at a hipster stand.

I think this is actually a nice stat to have. For some games it won’t matter for sure. Skyrim or any other open world game, the cost per hour is kind of moot since you play those games for hundreds of hours anyway.

Even after the last dolphin update? F-zero ran like shit until a year ago or so, they updated dolphin and now i get great performance even at 2K. Except cut-scenes and menus, there the fps is terrible for some reason.

FYI, dolphin lets you play games up to 4k. I have a 2K monitor and F-zero runs at well over 60fps on 2K. I use a PS4 controller for the input and it works amazing.

I thought the tracks were great most of the time. A lot of diverse tracks, from tracks that split up into 2 or 3 segments to tracks with huge slopes and drops, to tubes where you race on the outside or inside, tracks with hazards without, there was just a lot of diversity. Mars has been a very pleasant surprise so far. I bought the DLC pass last week cause i actually felt like playing some Destiny again. Curse of Osiris was terrible, but so far Warmind has been a joy, and is probably the most fun i’ve had with destiny since Destiny 1.

I’m going to be a bit cynical here and say that this free update was probably done so that everyone gets into FIFA18 again and starts buying all them MTXs again.

But why is it cheating? There was a time when hardly any JRPGs made it onto the PC, but those days are long gone. All western RPGs and even a lot of JRPGs now make it to the PC. Interesting that they keep their Rocket League team. It hasn’t performed that good, only barely making it into Rocket Leagues second division where they lost quite a bit.

Wait what? If anything Windows 10 reduced my bootup time. My desktop is kind of moot since its a pretty new system, but my laptop is almost 6 years old now and since windows 10 it boots up pretty fast again. I’d say i’m logged in after about 30 seconds.

I’m kind of in the same boat as you, but i’m okay with that. If in september we get a major expansion thats great i know most of my team will go back to it. Its just nice that in the meantime they’re actually doing what the community wants and not just saying “lol we know better”.
