Interesting, i love the Witcher, but once i was done with The Witcher 3 and both expansions the game felt finished, the story closed. the way Blood and Wine ends really closed the whole trilogy off for me, and i don’t really feel the need to ever play it again because it was closed off os well.

Yeah, i can relate that its sometimes hard to get into game A after you’ve played game B that did stuff differently. I’ve had Horizon on my shelf since march but didn’t play it because i just couldn’t get into it after Zelda. The freedom to climb everything and jump down from everything in that game made it so hard to

Yeah, this and the $30 price tag for a game thats then also filled to the brim with lootboxes. I’ll wait for the eventual steam sale where it drops 40% or something. I can play fortnite for free now, so no rush in getting it anyway.

I find fortnite to be pretty enjoyable on my own. Not for hours on end, but i do play a match or 2 pretty often.

Sure sounds like it!

The big difference is that Horizon is a 50 hour game, and The Witcher 3 is a 120 hour game.

Horizon was such a pleasant surprise for me. I’ve never really been amazed by any Guerilla game, even though i’ve always wanted to support them, being from Amsterdam and all, but the space nazi’s... i just couldn’t get into it, and their games were never as good as their competitors on other platforms.

Not a fan either. The E-sports i enjoy are sports where teams are pitted against eachother in an equal playing field, playing a balanced game. I like Rocket League and counterstrike because of that reason.

Yeah, the war table was one of the more interesting points. I wasn’t sold on Bioware’s take on “open world” games, some area’s being pretty boring and bland, but the war table really added some story and depth to the world, and i loved that you could “fail” some of the events by picking the wrong advisor.

Yeah, i played it back in the SNES days and as a child i was pretty amazed by it. Played the game again on the SNES mini and was turned off by it pretty quickly.

The one thing i hate about almost all gaming chairs is how god damn ugly they are. The back rest pillow and headrest pillow specifically turned me off from almost all of them. Eventually i ended up buying a somewhat more modest model that does have the overal outline of a gamer chair and has a very comfy backrest, but

If violent video games are to blame why don’t we have mass shootings here in The Netherlands, from time to time? OH yeah, we don’t have stores where you can walk in and buy guns.

Is also pretty common in South Africa. found it amazing the first time, but you adapt really fast. It’s harder for me to go back home and not do it than it is to go there and start doing it again...

Nah, we’re far from perfect. But any country where weapons aren’t legalized and the regular slaughter of young civilians isn’t an issue is above the states in terms of succes as a country :)

It makes me happy to live in a country with gun control. sure we have troubled teenagers here as well, and sure sometimes one of them does something stupid. But the worst thing they do here is bring a knife to school, and are usually arrested before they get to cut someone up. Worst case scenario in the past couple of

The main issue here is that some of these men expect love in return for respect, which in itself is pretty disrespectful if you ask me.

Yeah, the only “fighting” games i cna get into are games like super Smash Bros, where there are no combo’s to memorize and you basically just have 8 attacks to use. I just can’t remember button combo’s, ever. No matter how often i play a game, i suck at it.

If you need shit controls to make your game difficult you’re not doing it right.

Man, i don’t like fighting games at all, but this looks amazing. I really want to get this, but seeing as i haven’t anjoyed any fighting game over the past 2 decades i’m pretty sure i’ll just be disappointed. I might pick it up once it hits $20 to relive that old DBZ hype though because damn does it look amazing!

Which was fine at the time, but by todays standards is just ridiculous as a design mechanic. Resident Evil 7 proved that even with decent controls you can have a dreadfull experience.
