That was such a fun, underseen show.

All the stars in my heart.

We decided not to watch the movie because it wasn’t very interesting to us. We’re just annoyed that fans, post-mortem, have decided our lack of interest was due to stupidity, moral weakness, a love of Transformers movies, etc.

Almost my entire social circle of nerds, who are all in their 40's and have plenty of attention span, skipped this movie.

Now playing

That’s a gag that’s never ever not satisfying, when the bad guy goes “Okay, I’m a bad guy, but I have some line I will not cross.”

Legends of Tomorrow is about as far from a hard science fiction show as can be imagined. The idea of “hating” a harmless cute moment based on this show’s goofy hand wavey science seems silly to me.

I’m pretty sure a several hundred dollar game system and the tv or monitor to play it on, or a gaming pc counts as “needed gear”.

Victor Garber is about to leave the show. Maybe the production thought it would be nice if the old dude could be the super powered guy for once, you know?

Will the movie depict an army of porgs armed with sticks defeating high tech soldiers with lasers and armored vehicles?

Sava really shouldn’t have mentioned the Themyscira thing, that was clearly meant to be a nice surprise at the end.

Maybe they can get Donna or Cassie or something.

She’s actually apologized on several occasions.

Inhumans tried as much as possible to suppress its own genre trappings. I suspect a lot of that was simply Scott Buck’s cheapness. But instead of
“serious” I’d maybe say “mundane”. Almost nothing that happened on Inhumans couldn’t have happened on a typical evening soap about backstabbing rich families or whatever.

Ah, sorry, Rick and Morty Rick.

I’m hearing that in Rick voice and it makes it even better.

If suspenders were a problem KT Tunstall would have died around 2004-2005.

Aside from absolute disasters like Medusa’s wig in The Inhumans, I don’t understand why fans bother complaining about this stuff till they see it in motion. It’s like complaining about every casting of a new Batman.

It’s a mismatched cop movie. That’s not weird at all, it’s basically it’s own subgenre. Heck, it’s not even the first Something Weird mismatched cop movie. Alien Nation, The Hidden, RIPD, MIB, etc. The plot is also completely normal and has been done before: Honest cops have to protect some Mcguffin (evidence, a

Enh, we don’t know that for sure. The Vision, being an artificial being, is sort of a weird case to test with. Thor 1 explicitly gave the comic version of the enchantment. And all these powers seem to be conferred from Odin anyway.

This wasn’t their best game, but a win is a win, and they’ve won 10 in a row. Any team with scorers, and depth/flexibility, and defense is dangerous, and that’s what the Celtics have right now.
